Starlight Parade 2025 Details

We’re very close to the Starlight Parade next weekend! The next few rehearsals are important, so if your student will have a conflict please try to resolve it, and if you can’t resolve it, make sure it’s communicated ASAP to Mr. Riler!

Here are all the details:

Full Band Rehearsals with Color Guard, Dance & Cheer

  • Thursday, May 29 – 3:45pm – 5:45pm
  • Friday, May 30 – 3:45pm – 5:15pm

Parade Day Schedule – Saturday, May 31

  • 3:30pm Drumline Arrive to double check equipment
  • 4:20pm Uniform Team arrive to put uniform racks at station
  • 4:45pmALL UNITS Arrive (BAND, COLOR GUARD, DANCE, CHEER)
    BAND – Wear shorts and t-shirt, black socks and ALL Black shoes
  • 4:55pm Put uniform on
  • 5:10pm Section uniform check then
  • 5:20pm Get instruments (NO PLAYING!!)
    (Woodwinds in Bandroom)
    (Brass & Percussion on the Stage)
  • 5:30pm Apply double-sided tape to bells and affix finger lights
  • 5:55pm Form up in parking lot (by portables) for final inspection
  • 6:15pm Picture in front of the school
  • 6:30pm Load Busses on Franklin (plumes distributed)
  • 7:10pm Busses Drop off at Parade
  • 10:00pm Load busses and head back to CHS (plumes collected)
  • 10:30pm Approximate arrival time back to CHS
  • 11:30pm Uniform Team return racks to uniform room and Hat Boxes to the Bandroom

Uniforms need to be returned to their hanger and garment bag after the parade, and hung on the correct rack. Please leave the bag unzipped. It’s critical that nobody leaves with any piece of their uniform!
