PIL Band Contest

Our Wind Ensemble will be playing at the PIL Band Contest on Tuesday, March 21 at McDaniel.  Cleveland plays just after 2pmThe public is allowed to come support the students.  The band with the highest qualifying score receives an automatic bid to the State Band Championships.

Clackamas Jazz Festival

The Jazz Ensemble will be performing at the Clackamas Jazz Festival at Clackamas Community College on Saturday, March 18.  Our performance time is 4:20pm.  If the band is selected as one of the top 3 bands, they will perform again in the EVENING FINALS. The public is welcome to enjoy the entire event all day.  There is a $10 charge at the door.

In preparation for this festival, we will have an evening rehearsal from 6:30-8:30pm with the amazing Dave Parker on Thursday, March 16.

Festival Concert

Join us for a wonderful night of music as our large ensembles present the pieces they’ve prepared for the many band festivals taking place.  The concert will be on Thursday, March 9th at 7pm in the CHS Auditorium.  Admission is free.  The Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble and some select chamber groups will be performing.

The Bake Sale is back! We need lots of volunteers to donate delicious goodies, and we need several to help serve on the front lines. The sale will take place BEFORE and AFTER the concert, so don’t worry, you won’t have to miss out on anything!

What an incredible weekend at the PIL Solo & Ensemble Competition?!  Our musicians really put in the work and it showed in the results.  Well done to all who competed and congratulations to those who placed!
