The Future Warrior Concert is Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Performances by: Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble, as well as Sellwood and Hosford advanced bands.

With the addition of a combined number at the end, Concert Band members must arrive by 6:10pm for a short rehearsal with the Sellwood and Hosford bands.

The Pep Band List will be posted this week.  Several students that did not complete the form will be assigned where they are needed.

Our first game is Friday, January 20 (GOLD BAND)

We are entering a very busy part of the band calendar.  Please take the time to review the calendar as we jump into 2023.  You can subscribe to the CALENDAR to have the dates more easily accessible.  The button to subscribe is at the bottom right of the page.

Pep Band assignments are not completed yet, as only 13 students had completed the required google form as of December 30.  Please check in with your child to be sure they have completed the form.  In many cases, they do need to look at their schedules for family and other activities to decide which pep band schedule works best for them.

Join us for our first meeting of the new year on Monday, January 9th at 6:30pm, in the band room.  This is a great opportunity to get the inside scoop on all things Cleveland Bands!

Cleveland Band Family,

As we see our winter break coming, I wanted to extend a thank you to everyone for doing their part in making our last few months very successful. There is a great deal of coordination on everyone’s part just to make sure all have arrived on time, in the appropriate attire, with everything they need, and so on.

I would also like to especially thank any and all that have volunteered their time for any of our events to chaperone, bring food, assist with Play-a-thon, Bake Sale, etc. This is above and beyond, and we could not make these events happen without you!

Finally, I would also like to thank our student leadership students who have coordinated their efforts with our adult volunteers and filled in roles so adults did not need to do them at all. Another huge reason that this program accomplishes what it does.

Enjoy a great break, and keep those chops strong (practice) so we can hit the ground running in January!

Band merchandise orders are now available. If parents want to keep their purchases as a surprise gift for the holidays, please email Linh no later than Tuesday 12/13 at linhvu@clevelandbandspdx.com, or text (503) 412-8211 to arrange for pick-up. Otherwise, items will be sent home with students this week.
